There have been so many times when I have felt grateful for a deed done by someone else, even a stranger, but failed miserably to follow-up with a simple "thanks." I got a card in the mail at work today. It was a thank you note from a family that I worked with a few months ago. It meant so much to me to receive that note and to realize that someone was grateful for the work I had done with them, even though, it was a part of my job. It just reminded me that I need to take the time to appreciate those who help me out...even if it is a part of their job.
